Late Night in Southern California?

So I like to do things while everyone else is asleep - I work late (I'm a bartender) and when I get off I don't like going straight to bed, I'm a total nightowl.  Do you have any ideas of what's open 24 hours (besides dennys)?  Most parks close by 10pm, they don't show movies after one am (well except pornos but um... I'd rather not).  I like hiking at night, but most trails close at sunset.  Do you know of any museums, hiking trails, zoos, parks, record stores, libraries, beaches, etc that are open 24 hours in SoCal and are good for someone to go to alone?  Thanks!

The Angeles and San bernardino national forests are open 24/7 the only problem is the trail heads may be closed after dark and any cars inside the gates will be stuck there till morning. Critter factors are a problem (2 and 4 legged) as well never hike alone at night, and carry legal protection.
