What to do when visiting Chicago on a rainy day?
I will be trekking over to ChiTown for the weekend for the U2 concert next Sunday night, however the forecast isnt looking too pretty. Looking for something to do Saturday afternoon, night and Sunday morning. I've been to Shedd and the Hancock tower, so anything interesting going on that weekend I can checkout or go do where I wont get soaked for 48 hours straight?

Field Museum, Art Museum, or the Museum of Science and Industry. There is also a Holocaust Museum in Skokie (a suburb on the northern border of Chicago) and a Botanical Gardens. If you have a car, you can drive out to Schaumburg (NW suburb about 30 miles from Chicago) and go to Gameworks which is an arcade.
The links are listing of events going on this Saturday. The first link is music. The second link is comedy.

You can see dinosaur skeletons, the Egypt room with a lot of mummified objects and artifacts from pirates' raids at the Field Museum. The "Dinosaurs Alive" 3D movie is fantastic, too.

you can go to the fire station in wrigley field. its a historic one. the main one on illinois and dearborn street is the biggest in chicago. it even has a requet ball court. you can check out the mayfair store. its eight floors, theres the sears tower. then you can walk downtown when the rains stops for a little bit and find some places down there.
