I have a co-worker who is in her late 50's and will only listen to groups such as the Carpenters, and I told her via the power of the net I would bring her into this century of music, however she gave me the stipulation to keep it somewhat similar sounding. Any band suggestions for me!?!?

I will be trekking over to ChiTown for the weekend for the U2 concert next Sunday night, however the forecast isnt looking too pretty. Looking for something to do Saturday afternoon, night and Sunday morning. I've been to Shedd and the Hancock tower, so anything interesting going on that weekend I can checkout or go do where I wont get soaked for 48 hours straight?

Just wondering if its possible to have a car signed/titled in two different names, but the loan just be put under one of the other persons name.

I will be traveling w/ a friend to Europe in a month and need to figure out the cheapest/easy way to get to Bath for a couple days then back to London and hopefully stop and Stonehenge in that time as well. Right now it appears renting a small auto appears to be the cheapest option,any other choices we have? Here is my current rough itinerary:

I'm 24 and graduated w/ a Business Mgmt degree and have been working professionally in finance for two years. I have found the field very dry and uninteresting and each day I go home feeling unsatisfied. Recently, I have had a friend who has begun to encourage me to consider pursuing Medical school, and I'm really beginning to consider it. However, I'm just unsure if it worth the risk of quitting my job to go back into undergrad level studies for a few years then attempting to just get in Med school as if I am unable I will most likely need to return to the business field, but even farther behind in that area...any thoughts/advice/other input???

I will be taking a road trip alone this upcoming weekend from Detroit and ending in NYC on Monday. I plan on at least driving through VT,ME and NH along my way to Boston. So need to know two things. #1 What should I do/see in Boston? (I'll be spending one full day there) #2 Where should I stop & visit on my drive through the other three states?

I live in the 'burbs of metro Detroit and planning on going back to start my MBA in the fall of '09. I have/plan on applying to MSU, EMU (where I got my undergrad), and Wayne State, but would like to look out of state as well. What are some decent equal U's that I should consider? (I'm looking to mainly stay in the mid-west, or head anywhere on the west coast)

Here's the short of it...next year I want to go on a trip, anywhere in the world. Approx 2 weeks and will most likely be going it alone. I'm from the States and only speak English. I've considered options such as AUS/NZ, Peru, Alaska, etc but open to anywhere that will be fairly reasonable cost wise. Any suggestions?

Well I just moved back home after completing my undergrad and will be living it up w/ 'rents for a little bit while I work on my MBA. After coming back I realized my room is really dark and needs some fresh paint, but can not for the life of me figure out what color would match my existing furniture and carpet (both pictured in below link). I was thinking something light on 3 of the walls and the the 4 another color but idk. As long as its somewhat 'manly' and fits my outdoor maniac lifestyle itll work w/ me). Also to note I have a lot of black and silver stuff that I had at my apartment during college so it prob would be good if it matches that too.

I live in MI and have sprint right now and have no problems w/ it, but my plan is up in a couple weeks and I'm looking to get a new phone w/ web capability and a plan to go w/ it. As of right now I'm leaning towards one of sprints 450min everything plans and the new instinct but not sure. Anyone have a better suggestion?

Heres what I want in a plan: 450+ min and unlimited text & web usage and less thatn $70 a month. In a phone I need something w/ a full web browser or something very close to it.

But what I want to know is who was the idiot marketing planner in Pittsburg that thought it was a good idea to give away white t-shirts to all the fans. Didn't they realize that their arena's seats are red and by giving the fans white shirts makes it look like the game is being played in Detroit not Pittsburg. What was so hard about getting more appropriate home team colors to give away?

I graduated college last December and I'm already to hating my cubical job more and more everyday. I know I want to own my own business, but I just can't find anything that has serious growth potential as well as a reasonable start up cost. I seriously go come up w/, research, and ultimately throw away 3-5 ideas a week (usually due to dreaming too big). Its pretty frustrating right now so I'm just looking for some suggestions that I may be a little more do-able in the near future. I'd prefer it not be a franchised based operation, but I'm still open to the idea. Oh by the way I'm in the US economy dump called Michigan.

I'm in a large AL only Roto league and in third place but currently have no chance of catching the first place team due to their strong start in both pitching and batting. My OF is very weak and since there is not a single active player available to pick up that would help me out in any way I'm considering the following:

Activate Wells (on DL till at least end up June) and drop one of my current OF to make room on my bench so I can pick up Francisco Liriano. Then proceed to wait a little for him to be activated then trade him off for a stronger OF. So I guess first off, is this a completely wack idea or good move, and if so just who should I drop?

While golfing this evening I landed in the center of bunker when I went to hit it out I drove my wedge straight into a huge rock that was buried in the sand directly below my ball. No kidding, the rock was a good 4x4x8" It killed my hands and shot my ball into oblivion but what I'm most ticked about is that it put a ding right on the blade of the wedge (brand new this winter). I took the rock and club to the guy at the counter and he said the course director would call me tomorrow. What I want to know is what do I demand for reimbursement as well as what legal grounds do I have to support those demands. The ding isn't terribly bad, but from my point of view that is complete irresponsibility on behalf of the course and they at least owe me the value of my club $100.

Okay so I bought a new set of 07 cally Fusion irons last month and found someone that wants to buy my old set, so now I'm going to be w/o a 3 & 5 wood and gotta find some new ones by next week. I've tried countless clubs and so far I think I like the TM Burners the best. The best deal I've found on them is $150 a piece, so my question is should I go for it and get them or look for something a little cheaper that may perform just as good?

FYI-I'm hitting lefty and need a regular or firm shaft depending on the manufacturer
