Should It Happen? Is It Right?

Some guy on Facebook is planning on naming his son "Batman" if his page gets 500,000 fans. A lot of people are saying he'll ruin his kid's life, and others are saying it's cool.

Is it any worse than someone naming their kid Blanket or, Apple?

I find it appalling. Parents should insure the welfare & security of their children. People like this guy makes me seriously doubt he is ready to be a stable, fit father. If he likes it so much, why doesn't he just change his name to Batman. Why would any parent set their child up for such ridicule? He obviously is not taking his child's best interests into any consideration. How sad that anyone can procreate.

No. I'd have the dad drug tested if he was my husband.
