So I'm in my 3rd year and have basically concluded that the only thing I learned from school is that I'm stupid... If I decide to take a break for maybe a term or a year, would it reset my transcript and require me to start over from the bottom? Or do I maintain all of my credits?

So my JVC TV (don't know what model or year other than it's old, but is able to display at least 720p) has 2 HDMI inputs in the back but it does not have the HDMI input channels when I flip through the inputs. Because of this, I cannot set consoles and computers to HDMI. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My name is _______ and I am writing this appeal concerning the suspension of my financial aid in hopes of being reinstated for eligibility. I am appealing my ineligibility of financial aid due to circumstances that temporarily require me to travel home. A death in my family occurred.

My great uncle, _____________, had passed away. He wasn’t just any other great man in my family, but he was also a significant spiritual leader within the _______ community. He’s saved many lives as well as my own and my siblings during the course of his life. He was also so wise that he was often council members of the community. Out of love and respect that I had for my great uncle, I chose to attend the funeral service. The funeral service took place from _______ 19th to the 22nd, which marks that the funeral happened during Week 4 & 5 of the term. Conveniently, my ________ professor had changed the in-class midterm into an online exam and also extended the due date. I’ve also spoken with professor in my _______ class, requesting that I be allowed to the midterm exam on a later date; my request was approved. However, because I was schedule to return before my _________ exam, I could not request an extension. I had brought my course materials to help prepare for the exams when I would return, but the funeral service carried on throughout the entire nights over the course of the 4 days. Many things needed to be done to prepare for families visiting from out of the state and as much participation as possible was required, as well as making sure our use of the chapel was in good standing. I rarely had time to study those days and nights due to accommodating the needs of all of the families.

It is because of this that I didn't do as well as I should have. The result of my midterm exam crippled my final grade and has ultimately led me to ineligibility. I fully acknowledged that the fault is mine alone because it was I who made the choice to go where I was needed at the time. I ask that you please consider reinstating my eligibility for financial aid and give me this next term to prove that I can, will, and shall be truly invested in my education. Without financial aid, succeeding in college will be extremely difficult, if not impossible. I sincerely hope that I can continue to receive aid to be where I want to be. Thank you for your time in reviewing my appeal.

Throughout the term, I found myself participating more and more than I ever was in any term before. Active engagement with the course materials and with my peers have helped me to memorize and analyze key concepts more greatly in depth as well as apply them to interdisciplinary studies across the my courses. In terms of studying, I joined a group of students who study within the libraries twice a week for however long we have our room reserved, most often being for 4 or more hours. Concurrently, a club sport I participate in also has a study session of its own once a week for 3 to 4 hours. There are a plethora of resources available from other students, whether they have knowledge from having taking the course before, they are taking the same course as you are, or they just happen to major within it. Through this, I also find that I tend to achieve a lot more studying in groups as opposed to studying alone. I plan to continue attending in hopes of being in good academic standing and even after that as well. I’m so close.

I'm a first year college student taking French 101 with this girl I'm kind of interested in. I just don't know how to approach her and I feel like there's absolutely no reason for me to! She sits in the opposite side of the class in the opposite corner. Not only that, but my class gets split up into two groups: A and B. She's in A and I'm in B; there's absolutely no reason for anyone to talk to someone outside of their own group..

I found out that we have a lot of things in common (she's has said stuff in class, it's not like I stalked her), so I know there are so many possible things to talk about. My problem is that I just don't want her to automatically think I'm hitting on her and I'm not going to be weird about it at all.

I'm a new Wushu student and my coaches tell me that I'm improving at an insane rate for the few weeks that I've done it, so they're willing to teach me weapons earlier than they usually each beginners. I'll be competing alongside them at CMAT this year in University of Virginia, but I haven't picked a weapon yet and I don't know which one to pick.

My choices are straight sword, staff, and broad sword. I'm going to do all of them, but I want one to be my main focus and I want to know which one best suits a beginner like me. Thanks in advance.
