Help with HDMI Channels on JVC TV?
So my JVC TV (don't know what model or year other than it's old, but is able to display at least 720p) has 2 HDMI inputs in the back but it does not have the HDMI input channels when I flip through the inputs. Because of this, I cannot set consoles and computers to HDMI. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Note: The input channels are as followed:
TV
Video 1
Video 2
Video 3/PC
Video 4
Digital IN-1
Digital IN-2
I had assumed the digital channels were pseudonyms for HDMI, but I'm not able to get it to work on those inputs.

"...I had assumed the digital channels were pseudonyms for HDMI..." No. HDMI is High Definition Modular Interface. It's simply a type of connector and matching cable. Nothing more. It's used to physically connect an HD source, like an HD cable box or a Blu-ray player, to the TV. It's not a pseudonym for anything.
"TV" on your list above is your tuner, for use with an antenna or basic cable (no box). Everything else is for physically connecting some type of external gadget with the appropriate cables.
On some TVs, simply connecting the cable is not enough. For example, in order to select an HDMI input, the source (like a Blu-ray player) has to be turned on a providing signal to the TV. That's on some TVs, not all.

if your television is a HDTV, be certain you utilize a HDMI cable to connect your PS3, and the different HD-able gadget, to it. purely a HDMI cable or factor video cable (the only with 5 separate RCA connectors colored pink, Blue, green for video, and White and pink for audio) can carry a HD sign. HDMI is the popular cable via fact it may help 1080p, is HDCP compliant (for blu-ray video clips), is trouble-free to connect (single cable for the two audio and video) and often is the same old cable for the foreseeable destiny.

The hdmi inputs may not appear until something is connected to them & powered on.
