Christians what does this mean to you ?
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

It means that thanks to Jesus's death on the cross, I now have hope in spending eternal life with Jesus because of my relationship with Him. Verse 4 means that you can never lose salvation when you receive the gift, which we should be even more grateful. Verse 5 means that if we have faith in God, He will protect us from whatever may come our way. Verse 6 means that, even though we will have to endure tough and testing times here on this earth while we are waiting, we should do it while rejoicing and thankfullness. Verse 7 means that if you have faith while enduring these times, you will greatly honor the Lord Jesus Christ, and I think you will receive awards in heaven, as a result.
Great question and God Bless.

It means I should have no reason to grumble no matter what trails come my way, and the blessings I receive I must account for........How I spent them.
