Can you 'think'yourself pregnant?

Me and DH are trying for our second baby, i had my AF around the 15th of August so we BD on the 28, 30, 31 August, I started getting weird feelings couple of days later, a week later I was getting cramps in my right side and just generally had all symptoms of being pregnant, yesterday I felt really sick, had a migraine and started spotting which I thought was implatation but in fact was my AF again..Can you actually convince yourself that you are pregnant so much that you have symptoms like pregnancy when in fact your not

I think so, I think if you want something bad enough you start to think yourself that way. It's perfectly natural and I think it goes both ways. For women who are pregnant (and don't want to be) they can dismiss the symptoms as the flu, stress, food poisoning, etc.

Sending baby dust your way....best wishes!

Yes. It has happened many times. Your breast hurt, you may skip a period or more, even start producing milk and lactating has been recorded... weight gain.... the whole 9 yards, just no baby!

I am looking forward to getting PG too and hoping I don't do that!

Good luck and all the best :)

Absolutely! I was TTC for years. So many times I thought I was pregnant because of the 'signs'! But it was all for nothing. When I did get pregnant, I had no signs at all :)

I always heard that trying to get pregnant and thinking about it is one of the worst ways to try and get pregnant. So not thinking about it and not trying to make yourself pregnant is a good way to get pregnant.
