  • how many presents for christmas?

I have a 31/2 year old son and a six month old baby son, I admit that I have gone overboard on the christmas present buying with my first son, who then hardly played with the toys, but now there are two children I feel i need to cut back on this, ideally how many presents is enough for them?

  • What is your opinion on this?

My brother recently passed away unexpectedly, he was on his way to work when he suffered a cardiac arrest and died, we lived together still as we had a joint mortgage together with our parents, the morning he went to work I said see you soon and then quickly added I Love You which I have never ever said before, I did the same to my grandad five years ago just the day before he died, my question is do you think that subconsciously I knew I would never see them again and said this so that that they knew I did love them or do you have anothe explanation for this?

  • How much do you think my baby will weigh at birth?

I had to have a scan yesterday becuase my midwife thought I could have polyhydramnios (excessive amniotic fluid) because of how big my bump was measuring, I am 35 + 3 weeks at the moment and at the scan the sonographer told me that the bump was all baby and the estimated weight was about 6lb 3 ounces at the moment. I would like to know a guestimated idea how big he could be at birth, when his due date is in another 4 1/2 weeks taking into consideration how much weight they can gain in a four weeks Thanks

  • Anybody feel the same about this?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and still working full time, I have another 2 1/2 weeks before I leave work, the guys at work have been brilliant, the have lessened my work load and help me at any opportunity, my gripe is with people when I am commuting to work, I have to use public transport and I have to say that the people of Birmingham are the most arrogant and rude people, it seems people deliberatly walk towards me as I am walking to my place of work and expect me to jump out of their way even though I am massive and can barely waddle, when I get on a bus if all the seats are taken downstairs I have to manage to walk upstairs and find a seat because the passengers just stare ahead, and many a time people have bumped or brushed my bump quite nastily, anyone else experience this or are people generally more polite where you live?

Today I had for lunch chicken served in basil and tomato sauce, I looked on the internet and it said that Basil was to be avoided in pregnancy as it can cause uterine contractions, I am so worried now something will happen, I am 21 weeks pregnant.

  • Feel negative about TTC?

I am TTC child no.2 with my husband but I feel really negative and down at the moment that it won't work, will this affect my chances of conceiving

It seems the UK is having a baby boom at the moment as every other woman seems to be pregnant, I would dearly love my son who is 2 1/2 to have a baby brother or sister but I feel that it will take too long to concieve and by the time I do my son will be too old to play with the new baby, I also fear that I will not be able to have another child and that TTC is worthless

  • Anyone find it ironic?

and get little bit angry when people all around you are pregnant or have babies when you are TTC and many of those act like their child is a nuisance.

I would dearly love another child, I have a two and a half year old who I adore and would be delighted to be a big brother but it doesn't seem to want to happen, my greatest regret is that I didnt start soon trying for a sibling for him, then I see all these people with three or four children, yelling at them and acting like the children are nuisances. Does anyone else in a similar situation get angry at that?

  • Are we still innocent until proven guilty?

I have read a lot of comments about Michael Jackson being a peadophile that he liked to sleep with little boys etc

I thought that you were innocent until proven guilty and since he was found innocent of the charges made against him why do people still assume that he was one. There is a book called The Michael Jackson Conspiracy by a lady called Aphrodite Jones. The author demonstrates the difference between what was reported and what actually happened by examining witness testimony, using extract from court transcripts, and describing both the jury's and Michael Jackson's reactions to what was being said.

We were led to believe that the main accusers were credible, yet over and over again under cross examination they were caught out in lies, and on many occasions actually had to admit that they were lying. Not only did their story keep changing but they even contradicted each other, and their reaction when faced with this was never reported by the media.

What do you think about this?
