Am I real or a figment of my own or your imagination?

Am I real of just the product of an over active imagination? If I am the product of someones imaginings who are they and why did they imagine the Conservative Party?

I believe we are all part of something bigger.

But this is an interesting theory.

What if, We create who we want?

    Our thoughts are powerful.

    Knowledge is powerful.

And what if we use that in a way such as the law of attraction?

and we make the thoughts we have into people.

Negative thoughts= negative people in our lives.

Positive thoughts= positive people in our lives.

So maybe we do not create each other.

But we sure do attract one another

    Descartes

I'm ignoring the part about the Conservative Party since you didn't state which one or where you are from.

As Rene Descartes said, "Cogito, ergo sum" - (I think, therefore I am)

The Conservative Party usurped this axiom and corrupted it to mean, "I stink, therefore I am."

Your assumption about being imagined is only correct if you stink too.

You're real. You can't imagine yourself into existence. Where would your imagination come from?

  • 1 decade ago

Well, you are definitely not a figment of my imagination, because believe me, I would imagine someone/something much better/entertaining/intelligent.

I don't know. Since I can't experience you life first hand without using my life to perceive. I don't even know if your a "person" capable of thought. Then again, your just another questioner.

Well I believe that you are a figment of my imagination and that I am not really typing this, just imagning. But you know what? The doctors have put me on some medicine for this....so idk

I don't think there's any way to tell what's real and what's not. It's impossible to really know what's real outside your own mind, so inside your mind, your real. Inside mine, your not.

If you are someone's imagination, they have a sick sense of humour... and who would bother dreaming this?
