    Very interesting if not a little scaremongering at the start of the document. They have been researching this for years and other evidence shows a link between poor placental function and the way the placenta attaches to the uterus wall and pre-eclampsia. Also linked to some congenital abnormalities.

    I don't think it is the definitive answer but it is another potential driver in the chain reaction that appears to cause pre-eclampsia.

    Good that they are looking at it though
