Pregnant & Sore tongue - feels like been eating sour candy?
I am 25 weeks pregnant and for the last few days, my tongue has felt like I have been eating nothing but sour candy. Everything I eat hurts it. I thought I heard once that a sore tongue means you are missing some kind of vitamin/mineral? Anyone else experience this or know what I am talking about??

Funny that you ask this ... I noticed my tongue was very sore on the left side yesterday. I ate a small chunk of pineapple and a strawberry, and it felt that way like 2 or 3 minutes afterwards. It could have been the acidity of the fruit. Did you eat anything that could have caused this? If not, I'd say it's hormone related. That seems to be the answer to everything else.
CONGRATS!

I don't know what you are atlking about but when you are pregnant you should brush your teeth more, floss, and use a good mouth wash. Also your hormones are changing drastically so that may have something to do with it. Or maybe you are missing some kind of vitamin. You should call your doctor and make sure , maybe they can give you a prenatal vitamin better to fit you.
