For some babies this is normal. Does his stomach feel really rock hard? Is he super cranky? Is he vommiting or have a fever? If you answered yes to any of those questions you should call the dr. But if he's fine and acting fine, I would let it go another day or so. Juice isn't really recommended for babies this age. He may be a lil dehydrated and just need a lil more water to get things moving along. I would suggest a couple ounces of sugar water. 2 teaspoons sugar to 4 ounces of water. Give an ounce or so between each feeding (don't give more than the 4 ounces in 1 day) and see if that helps. Best of luck

My son had the equal drawback while he began solids, cereal may be very constipating, so pass it and big name her on vegetables & end result, it isn't relatively wanted and it has little or no dietary significance. My son went every week with out going #two!! And he used to head two times an afternoon, my Dr recommended two tbsp of prune youngster meals day-to-day at round 6pm, it helped plenty, he began solids while he used to be 6mo and he is nearly 8mo now, i ended giving prune youngster meals & he is now going two times (or three occasions) an afternoon, it is a topic of time & her little frame being used to the solids. If you're adamant approximately giving her cereal, achieve this each and every different day & at the days she does not get cereal, supply her just a little prune youngster meals, I used gerber however you'll be able to additionally make it your self, it is effortless! If she has ache while she is going take her to the Dr, however i suppose she'll be satisfactory, breast milk makes poop very tender.. I understand, my son is breastfed too God Bless

As at any age, he should really be doing at least once a day. (Even if he doesn't seem to be in any pain - there's the intestinal autointoxication to worry about). Every other day is the outer edge of "normal".
After three days I think you should take matters into your hands and give him a baby-size glycerine suppository. Pop one of those in him and he'll do a smelly in 5-15 minutes.

I honestly can't remember how long is normal my son is now 5, but if you're concerned call his doctor or give him a little bit of prune juice. The prune juice will get his system moving! It only takes a little!

formula or breastfed?
if hes breastfed, hes fine...breastfed babies can go up to week without a bm
if formula...does he seem uncomfortable? he's probably ok, but you try diluting some apple or prune juice (only like 1/2 oz juice, 1/2 oz water) and that should get things moving!
you could also just call his dr...if you dont know who his dr is just call any pediatrician, im sure theyll help you!
good luck!

Does he seem to be distressed? When we started giving our son solid food around 6 months it took a few weeks for his digestive system to get used to it. Once I think he went almost a week without pooping. As long as when he goes he's not straining and it's not hard, dry clumps, you don't need to be concerned.
