What do I multiply each equation by to get y the same in both equations (y has to be negative in one of them)?

0.05x+0.25y=22

0.15x+0.05y=24

    Multiply the bottom equation by -5 all the way through. Which would give you:

    0.05x + 0.25y = 22

    -0.75x + -0.25y = -110
