Bands like Rise Against?
Are there any bands like Rise Against's music style. Underground, mainstream, whatever. I'm up for just about any genre, but no pop punk please...I don't like pop punk, I know some people say Rise Against is more pop punk, than plain punk or melodic punk, but they do a lot of different styles in their albums, so it's not a valid statement that they're pop punk..

I would say Anti-Flag, early AFI, Gallows, and maybe even Pennywise.
Rise Against's favorite bands, Black Flag and Minor Threat, are great too. Personally, I love Black Flag and Minor Threat much more than Rise Against, although I do think Rise Against is great.
For some reason, The Foo Fighters somehow remind me of them too.
