Why is my personal website getting so many hits.?

I'm averaging about 50,000 hits per month. It's just a site with my personal photo album for family and friends to see. I haven't updated it in about 3 years. Why am I getting so many hits?

    Remember, hits are not visitors. Review your traffic log.
