The truth cannot be hidden although people try to hide it

What is smoke? the evidence of existence of fire, so you cannot put off the smoke without putting of the fire,which means there is something deep inside which causes smoke which betrays the existence of it

This fire can be considered to be the "truth" whose existence can be betrayed by "smoke" which is just a symptom of fire

Love can be hidden by lust.

Cough can be hidden by a cough syrup.

Smoke can be hidden by a water proof cloth.

True character of a person also cannot be hidden for long.
