Is anyone else angry that EA Sports has decided to stop making sports game for the computer?

EA stopped making Madden in 2009 and now is putting out FIFA and NHL 10 versions, but not for PC. I am not buying a new games system just because they won't release the games in PC, anymore, either. 

I used to play Madden 08 and did last year when they didn’t put out a game for PC. I still play the Ravens, but am slightly upset I can’t put in this season's schedule and get a roster update even though I have the old game. 

EA has decided to abandon the PC community, the ones who got them where they are in the first place. They have decided to stop making FIFA and NHL for PC, as well. I refuse to go out to purchase a new game system for one game. I only got FIFA and NHL last year for the first time since 2002. So, it looks like I have the last versions available for PC, which really sucks.

I agree with other posters who say that since EA Sports got the NFL license in 2005, they have raped the public with their prices and released substandard games, mainly because there is no competition. Their updates are puerile, at best and they want you to purchase add-ons that are almost completely useless.

If I owned EA stock, I would probably sell it.

Anyone else have any thoughts??

^To Jefferson J, no. The graphics don't suck on computer. Computer graphics can actually, believe it or not, be much better than PS3/360 graphics. It just depends on how good your computer is. And, again, games can load very fast on PC. Just depends on your computer.

Anyway, back to the topic. While I do not actually play sport games, i'm still quite annoyed. They're putting them on just the consoles as if the PC isn't worthy of their games. When actually, no system is. EA games are terrible in my opinion. They should think about all their PC fanbase. If they actually thought about it, i'm sure they would end up making more money in the long run.

Along the lines of the person above, I also, have recently left the rather expensive world of pc gaming. I do not see how anyone can say that PC gaming is better than console gaming. I was on that bandwagon for years. Now that I have a ps3, I cannot imagine going back to pc gaming just on price alone. I spent $450 on this ps3 and have FREE wifi gaming. I spent over $1500.00 on the gaming pc rig I built before this to play online and did not have any of the cool first run games like the 360,wii,or ps3 has. So chalk me up as another console convert. Like the other guy said, the PC market is way to vulnerable and thus it is shrinking.

Well I was quite annoyed they never bothered making a rugby game. When I thought about it though, it is because they wouldn't make a profit of it. 
I think that if EA beleive they won't make a profit then it is fair they aren't putting the games onto the PC. 
If owned EA stock I would NOT sell it! It must be worth llllooooaaaaddddsssss though

I am too angry because I am living in pakistan where game console are too expensive and people play games on Pc I have 160 classmate and only 2 have play station so EA what are you doing

I don't play any sports games. If I did, I wouldn't be too upset about it. Just buy another sports game. ;) I think a lot of the stuff is for Xbox 360, etc.

Well dont mean to be offensive but al sports game sucks on pc because the graphics are horrible and it takes alot longer to load stuff like that my adive get used to it get a ps3 or 360
