Will I be able to get another grant for college?
I attended a university from 2003-2007. I have a couple loose ends to take care of in order to get my degree. One of them is a two-credit class I have to retake. The tuition is pretty high. This class will cost me at least $2000. Is it possible to apply for a government grant? I'm no longer a dependent and I'm not making very much money at all.

In order to get federal student loans, you will have to be enrolled at least half time (6 hours). Two credit hours alone won't allow you to take out a student loan for this amount.
It IS possible to get a grant for attending less than part time, but is is pro-rated. IN other words you wouldn't get very much because 2 credit hours is a lot less than 12 hours. The only bad thing about this is many people don't qualify for the Pell grant. Even if you qualified for the max, it wouldn't pay all 2000 for you.
