First Mark Sanford, and now Joe Wilson. What is going on with South Carolina Republicans?

Is there something in the South Carolina drinking water that makes the Republican Governor Sanford and Congressman Wilson from that state do such stupid things?

These two are getting severely ridiculed from the top Republican leaders and other sane people in their own party.

There is an arrogance and hypocrisy that reeks of elephant dung...

To their credit, Republican lawmakers in the State of South Carolina have been calling on Mark Sanford to resign, as he should, although his staying in office after the exposure of his immense hypocrisy, incompetence, misuse of funds, dereliction of duty, and strange ramblings can only help Democrats in that state and elsewhere. I'd like to see President Obama and his team visit South Carolina often in the next few months, maybe even include 87-year-old Fritz Hollings who was well-liked and well-respected by the state (who elected him to several posts over the years) and ask the people in many districts what are their main concerns. I think we could win the state. What about Senator Ensign? He was vicious in his attacks on President Bill Clinton, and now gets caught in an extramarital affair of longstanding and bribery/payoff---such sanctimonious hypocrisy! Seems to be a theme that runs throughout the Republican party right-wing extremists and cult-evangelicals these days. There was Senator Craig, railing against homosexuals for years on the Senate floor, denouncing them as abominations and godless---then he gets arrested in a men's room at an airport in his home state for soliciting a male undercover cop...So what IS going on with Republicans in general---at least with the cult-evangelicals that Goldberg (2006) and Sharlet (2008) have tried to warn us are intent upon seizing control of our government "at every level" in the same manner they have seized control of the misguided GOP?

Joe Wilson is yet another bratboy beanbrain who doesn't have the sense God gave a goose...by the way, he is hosting the so-called "teabaggers" (lol) in Washington DC tomorrow---does he even realize the second meaning the word "teabagger" has? These overally moralistic extremists keep getting hoisted on their own petards, that's for sure.

Wilson was not only right, but more need to stand up against Obama the Liar. He is a constitutional lawyer and he knows damn well that if they get any universal health care policy passed, that the courts would strike down any clause saying illegal were not eligible for the health care, because of discrimination. He lies all the time.
