Michael hid the childrens identity to protect them from the press and also to give them more freedom.When Michael tried to have a day out with them it would be total chaos and be totally destroyed but by concealing their faces they were able to go out without him without being recognised.This gave them more freedom to be able to remain anonymous when Michael wasn't with them.I doubt he came to the decision of concealing their faces lightly.I think he would have given it much thought and decided it was what was best for them.They do not need to be mixed race to be Michaels biologically but since none of us know we must all respect he was their dad no matter what and he loved them.

Some people sometimes might not look mixed race but actually are. My cousins are like that. MJ DESPISED the tabloids and media and so for that reason he hid his kids faces. And good for him because if i were that famous I'd probably do the same. It's tough having a kid. Let alone when you are a celebrity.

Michael did not want his kids to experience the horrific things he had and was experiencing. As for Michael's kids being white, well they're not white, actually. I am the proud uncle of a number of biracial kids, so I know biracial kids when I see them. On some pictures they look white, and on others they look tanned. Paris is certainly mixed. In fact, she reminds me of Nicole Richie. Prince is mixed as well. If you look at Prince's nose and lips, they are not as exaggerated as African Americans', but they are not as small as Caucasians' either. Blanket, of course, could not be white. I have a nephew in particular who doesn't look like my other nephews. He actually looks Middle Eastern, so that just proves that bi-racial children don't just come in one default package. You also have to keep in mind that Michael's family contains white ancestors. My brother is really dark skinned and my nephew's mother is pale white, and my nephew is one or two shades darker than his mother. Believe me when I tell you that Paris, Prince, and Blanket are, in fact, Michael's biological children.
