They run on the same frequency as cordless phones, so if they are a problem, it's pretty serious because cordless phones have been a household standard since the late 1980;s
For that reason, I do not think there are issues.
Keep in mind that it's all radio waves of different frequencies and we are getting bombarded by them every second from thousands of sources like televisions, radios, microwaves, cordless phones, cell phones, routers....etc

No, I do not believe this is bad for your health. If there is any health risk factor you would have to be right up to the wireless modem and for a very long period of time before you would meet with issues in your health, just like you have to have the cell phone close to you and for a very long period of time before you would get health issues. Even if you weren't around wireless modems all the time you still have radio signals, television signals, etc., etc., so you cannot escape any type of signal radiation (besides going into a super remote area).

There was some early data back about 10 years ago suggesting there might be a link between wireless use and some types of cancer but upon closer scrutiny, noting has been proven in all this time. And they have really tried to prove a connection in the time since. The early data was anecdotal evidence meaning it wasn't a controlled study to determine if this causes cancer. It was a conclusion drawn from another study for another purpose entirely. And since there was no control group to compare the results to, that "evidence" is questionable.

Yes, they are. As a doctor I'm treating patients with modem- induced cancer very often.
You shouldn't be around those modems (up to 10 feet) longer than approx. 2 hours/ day or you risk of getting serious cancer!

Do you believe everything you read? If so then to be safe wrap the modem in aluminum foil (or tin foil if you cannot spell aluminum). Be sure to double wrap the antenna. Make a hat out of the foil and be sure to wear that all the time. Alternate that with waxed paper for a different look.

it's believed, not proved, that radio waves can cause cancer.
i say use you wireless router and be happy because if you don't your neighbours will use one and they will also use cell phone and you gonna receive waves thought you head and have the same amount of risk of having a cancer.

No this is not true.
Would they really make these if they were dangerous to our health.
They transmit on different wavelengths and are safe.
