Having a personal poo issue, worried.?
Sorry to be a bother, but I'm truly troubled. I haven't had a poo in nearly 2 weeks and it's starting to scare me. I feel the need to go, but no matter how hard or long I push, it just won't come out. It's troubling I haven't had this problem before. Should I go to the doctor? Or do I need to go to the Natural Medicine store and get something. Please help me with this issue.
P.S.: My diet is mainly consisting of noodles and and starches. Thanks guys.

Hi there - well your diet is definitely the problem. Those two things will back you up like glue. You need some fiber. After not having a bowel movement for two weeks, I would say immediate attention is important. For now, I would go to the the health food store and pick up so Physillium Husks (it's fiber to get you moving). Also, Senecot from the drugstore works great and is plant based. You are pretty backed up, so don't fret if you don't get that BM promised after 6-8 hours of use. It could take closer to a day. If you don't have a BM soon, like in 2-3 days make sure you see your doc asap. If you have sharp or colicky pain call your doctor asap as well. Drink lots of water, and gentle (left to rght) circular abdominal massage will help the fiber and/or Senecot do it's thing. Eat more veggies and oatmeal - you will see an improvement immediately. Good luck!

Oh, dear! Unfortunately, there are people in this world that feel their beliefs should be held higher than those that differ. Perhaps it would have been better to quietly eat your eggs and real bacon and when questioned, calmly explain that you don't subscribe to that particular way of thinking. Enough of the woulda-shouldas, we're beyond that, now... What you can only do now, is contact the regional office and report the troop that you were in, citing specific details on what occurred and when. I know that sounds like a bit much, but if you are going to file a complaint, details are important. When you have real details of actual events that occurred, you look like you really have something to complain about. After all, frivolous complaints are made every day, and you want yours to really be heard! If you aren't completely turned off by the idea, you may want to do what another person suggested and join another local troop. Just remember for the future: the two worst things to get into a public debate about are religion and politics.... Particularly if your beliefs are considered to be the minority of the group. It makes things extra-difficult if there isn't anyone there to back you up!

You're not getting enough fiber.. don't just start taking fiber pills. it will make the constipation worse.. go slowly with fiber and drink a lot and I mean a lot of water and get some exercise. You have to move.. you can't eat junk and expect to go to the have a regular good Bowel movement. If this starts hurting you really bad.. yes go to the doctor...but you should be able to turn this around with proper foods. You can try warm water with lemon..no sugar.. each morning before food.. that helps too. Start eating right, drinking water and exercising. Your bowel movements really are a sign of your health. Take care.

You should go see a physician and a nutritionist. You should go to your regular family doctor first. They will most likely refer you to a specialist and run a few tests to see what the problem is. It could be your diet since you said you are only eating noodles and starches. You probably need a more varied diet.

Yes - starches can be a real constipator - green leaf vegetables - salads - use some good real-fat dressing - and have some prunes and prune juice for a while - lots of water too.
I bet that should take care of a few things. If you get pain on your insides, think about taking fish oil and glutamine, but it sounds as if you don't have any pain which is good.

Just get some prune juice and laxatives. Down as much prune juice as you can tolerate and take the recommended amount of the laxative.
Sleep in the bathroom.
If nothing happens after that then go to the doctor.

If your that constipated I doubt a stool softener or simple laxative will help. If you go to your local drug store there is a product called Magnesium of Citrate, it's a drink. It's usually in a green glass bottle. It tastes much much better if you mix it with a lemon lime soda or chill it in the refrigerator....this stuff really works. TRUST ME

Option One: Eat oatmeals, raw bell peppers and very, very, very spicy things. they make you go baaaaaaaaaaaad!
Option Two: Try Dulcelax my friend took that and she was in the bathroom pooing all day.
Option Three: If none of those work within a week see a doctor, plezzz.
I hope i helped, Good luck

I would vigorously wrestle with a nude, muscular, mime until your bowels loosen up a bit...then have him punch you in the lower abdomen several times while he walks against the wind. As he fights his way out of an invisible box, run to the toilet & wait for the fireworks. Good luck, Fruity!

No wonder it wont come out! Eat more fibery things!
The longer you hold IT in , the more moisture that gets removed from it- making it hard to ..go. I suggest you consult your doctor as it may be a more serious problem.
