Anyone else dissappointed with "Arctic Vigor" oil supplement for pets?

I've been using this as an omega source for my 3 dogs for about 5 months now and we've not seen a huge improvement. However, more research on my part has found that it's made of SEAL OIL!!!! I was really dissappointed-I don't condone the slaughter of seals at all! Furthermore, I've researched the benefits of seal oil for dogs and found no supporting evidence that its' beneficial for them. I'm really dissappointed in this particular product. Anyone else feel the same?

I only use Salmon oil. Usually Grizzly brand.

I wouldn't even have considered seal oil, I have no reason to believe it would be as good as the oils from cold water fish - which is proven to be very good for people and dogs.

I've never heard of it. I give my dogs salmon oil soft gels from Walmart and they have amazing coats. I would never buy seal oil, either.

Edit; I have to add, though, that many Northern dogs are fed on seal meat and they have very thick, lush coats, and as seals live on fish, they probably have a great deal of omega fatty acids in their fat.

I have never used it, personally I use plain fish oil pills for my 3 dogs and get great results with it.
