Is this a good laptop for these uses?
Im looking at buying a laptop and I wanna use it for school, downloading music and movies and some gaming not alot jut something i can play games on and it look and play good. I was looking at the following laptop.
also would i be able to hook it up to a tv with a s video cable or sumthing on the same bases?

It's refurbished, but has lots of excellent features.
Nice video card for this unit.
Too bad it's not High Definition for your Blue Ray movies.
The price is not bad for all that this unit offers.
It's just being refurbished and only a 30 day warranty would worry me some, personally.
This until should play most of your high-end games. Fast, enough memory and again, good video card.
It should do everything you want it to do.
To connect to your TV, your video card needs an S-Video cable connector. Then buy an S-Video cable and connect to your TV. But sound will have to come from your laptop.
If your laptop also has RCA jacks, you can push the sound through your TV along with the S-Video cable.
