Yet another cpu compatibility question?

XFX 8200 MIA78S8290 is compatibly with AM2+ up to 95W, but on the XFX website I found this list http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/produc...tyList-AMD.... that says the wattage is the limitation and socket size is compatible. Is this true? If it is than this cpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103... which was on the list at 125W could possibly work because it says 95W. I guess my big question is do all AM3 95W and lower cpu work?

Update:

AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 3.0GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor is the cpu I am looking at and if you go to xfx site click products> mobos> Gforce> 8200. The links work else where my bad.

The links in your question don't work.

The best guide for which processors work on a particular motherboard is to go by the CPU support list provided by the manufacturer. Finding out if any other similar processors work, in addition to those on the list, would be a process of trial and error.
