Has anyone taking Savella experienced this? Please read!?
I was prescribed Savella for chronic pain back in June of this year; all of the information I've read about it says that weight loss is a common side effect. On the other hand, I've gained roughly 30 pounds since then and I've been having to buy clothes left and right. Since I started as a size 0 the doctors weren't taking my concerns seriously, but I'm showing no signs of slowing down on the weight gain and I'm starting to get seriously worried. Has anyone had this problem?
BTW- I've stopped taking the Savella about 2 weeks ago and while I haven't stopped gaining weight I've stopped gaining it as rapidly.
The Savella was prescribed by my rheumatologist. I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs but all the same I've still gained a lot of weight in a short time. I was going broke buying clothes because I went from a size 0 to a size 4-6 in less than 2 months time, and at the rate I'm going it's not unrealistic to think I might actually by pushing 200 lbs. by the end of the year. That makes this a big concern to me.

What is your height and weight now? Every one has a different reaction to a drug, so this may be normal for you. If you have chronic pain, you might try a pain specialist. They have a lot of different ways to handle chronic pain.
