  • Need help with printing a photo using HP?

I've tried printing a picture (Viking drawing-outline) and during the printing process it keeps cutting off the top 2 inches of the picture. I've tried enlarging, scanning, Photoshop, iPhoto, everything. If it's not cutting off inches, it's too small for the page. The page setting is for 8.5x11" but I can't seem to change the dimensions of the picture itself. A little help please?

  • Question about Scopes for Pistols?

I'm looking to gift a scope for a Walther P22 Automatic but I'm unsure as to what I need, where I should look, etc. If someone could recommend brands, sizes, models, anything to point me in the right direction I'd be thrilled. Thanks!

  • What are some good menus for someone on a really small budget?

We've recently joined the ranks of those laid off without much money coming in, and I'm trying to pare down our menus. I do a lot of one dish meals because they're inexpensive, but I'm trying to keep meals healthy and varied for my family (there are three of us). I'm a decent cook, and I do a lot of Thai, Vietnamese, American, Soul Food, and really basic Italian, but I'm looking for meal ideas that don't require a lot of unique ingredients and where I can buy ingredients in bulk and spread it across several meals. Any and all help would be appreciated!

  • Can you help me diagnose myself?

Generally I'm good at diagnosing myself and family members but I'm a bit stumped. Although I realize that none of this takes the place of professional medical advice (aka Doctor) I'm one of those people who will obsess until I get some kind of an answer. So, here goes my symptoms and history:

    1. Positive ANA, negative RA, possibly anemic, myoclonic seizures (the seizures are those little jerking/spasms of the muscles but other than annoying me present no problem in and of itself)

    2. Ankylosing spondylitis was tested and discarded a couple of years back, as were lyme disease and osteoarthritis. The last rheumatologist I saw just left a diagnosis of undifferentiated connective tissue disease. Our best guess is maybe lupus, but I lost insurance before we finished testing.

    3. Current symptoms- lower spine just above/around hips is swollen but not tender to the touch. That said, pain does radiate from there throughout hips and upper back to legs, along with a pinching sensation of pain sometimes.

    4. Throughout out the day I'll start to feel like (I'm trying to describe this accurately) ice water is running through my veins, but I'm not feverish and I don't feel cold externally. Sometimes I'll feel flushed during all of this. The best way to describe it is that feeling you get when something starts to go numb on you, before you get the blood flowing again.

    5. Might not be related, but my voice is shot to heck and back but no sore throat.

Basically I hurt, feel run down and lethargic, but other than the pain and symptoms I don't actually feel sick, as in need to go to the ER sick (my only option without insurance at this point!) Help, anyone?

  • Has anyone taking Savella experienced this? Please read!?

I was prescribed Savella for chronic pain back in June of this year; all of the information I've read about it says that weight loss is a common side effect. On the other hand, I've gained roughly 30 pounds since then and I've been having to buy clothes left and right. Since I started as a size 0 the doctors weren't taking my concerns seriously, but I'm showing no signs of slowing down on the weight gain and I'm starting to get seriously worried. Has anyone had this problem?

BTW- I've stopped taking the Savella about 2 weeks ago and while I haven't stopped gaining weight I've stopped gaining it as rapidly.

  • Is anyone familiar with the Atlanta Olympic songs?

I'm referring to a song sung by the choir in the opening ceremony during the 1996 Olympic games held in Atlanta. If I remember correctly they came after "Summon the Heroes" but before "The Power of the Dream" (Celine Dion). Don't know why it's on my mind but now it's driving me crazy.

  • Why do people hate on people who wear a size 0?

I wear a size 0 and I'm not skinny; I have curves, am 5'4", and I'm half-Asian. I've been reading magazines in which people will say people who wear size 0 are unhealthy/anorexic, or look bad, or just plain need to eat. I eat 3 square meals (with meat, vegetables, carbs, and desserts; roughly 1,500-2,500 calories a day) plus snacks and lead a very active life but I just happen to fit a size 0 still. People come in all sizes and shapes, and while the average woman wears a size 12 supposedly there are tons more who don't. So why do people hate on those who wear a size 0?

  • Does anyone know how to make this sound? ?

I like Ladysmith Black Mambazo, a South African acapella singing group. One of the main reasons I love them is because they sound like a full band (complete with instruments) with beautiful musical arrangements. My question then is about a particular sound made when either a hard "c" or perhaps a "k" is said, a clicking noise almost. I've tried to replicate it but it doesn't sound as sharp as it does on the music. I thought it may have been the sound production error or an echo, but I've heard it when they're just talking. Does anyone know how to make the sound?

  • Question about pregnancy and chronic pain?

I have chronic moderate to severe back and hip pain and I'm currently taking Percocet 10/325 mg daily. I want to have another child so badly but the last time I stopped taking pain meds of any kind it was agony for most of those three months. I have one child but the condition didn't start until after the birth and after a Depo-provera shot, which may be related and I never planned on having an only child. Is there anyone who's been through this and what did you do to alleviate the pain? I can't not work because my income is needed, and I also want to make sure my family doesn't suffer if I do end up pregnant (I do most of the housework, shopping, cooking, etc) and can't control the pain. Please give advice, and also know that I have tried to talk to my doctor but his response was basically either stay on the medication or get pregnant and suffer, which I think is pure bull since there's got to be practical alternatives out there. Thanks!

  • Spoiler Alert! Do you think New York picked the right man?

Okay, so New York picked Tailor Made on the season finale of I Love New York 2. At first I hated him, but as the show progressed I liked him more. I'd rather she had picked Punk, but I'm glad Tailor Made won as I thought Buddha was just too much. I can't describe it, like he couldn't let things go and they were always arguing. So what does every one else think? BTW, I know Buddha was a fine piece of man but it got to the point that every time he opened his mouth I wanted to reach through the television and beat him.

  • Need good music for 4 yr. old's party. Help, anyone?

I bought a limbo stick for my daughter's 4th birthday party and just realized I don't know any good limbo songs! The only one that's in my head is the Elmo limbo song, but that's not available for download. I think the song just need a catchy beat, kid-appropriate lyrics, and something not too obscure because I have to download it.

  • All who are anti-abortion: how many kids would you adopt?

This is not meant to be an offensive question; I genuinely want to know. If you are going to be hateful to me or anyone else who answers please don't post. As for the question I asked because there should be a solution if abortion is banned. We have literally hundreds of thousands of children in foster care, and many of them are there because of lack of access to adequate pregnancy planning or abortion centers. There are more in homes that are abusive because, once again, their parents could not afford to not have them. They could be handed out for adoption, but there are infinitely more children than willing parents and after about seven or so their chances of adoption is slim to none. So they grow up unwanted and neglected by the system and contribute to crime problems, become victims of poverty, and they repeat the cycle. So my question is: if you are against abortion how many kids will you adopt? If you have another solution in mind I'd be happy to hear it.

  • Pain!!! What other meds and does anyone know of a good pain doctor in Macon/Warner Robins, GA?

Up until my pregnancy I didn't use medicine; I was diagnosed with depression and put on so many meds as a child that as an adult I refused to take any. However, I started getting strange rashes first (later diagnosed as erythema multiforme), then after delivery began having muscle pains. After taking Depo-provera I began having bad spasms (myoclonic seizures) and debilitating pain (fibromyalgia). I doctor hopped trying to find adequate pain relief and nothing seemed to work. I've had fentanyl (which triggered the rashes), Soma, Flexeril, Ultram, Lortab, Vicodin, Percodan, Oxycodone, you name it. I'd get Demerol shots on a walk-in basis because my flare-ups would have me crying. I'm back in Georgia and on Ultram and it's not helping but I'm too scared to say anything because every time I spoke up I'd end up with ineffective medication. I used Vicodin successfully; it didn't have any horrible side effects and worked really well. The only problem is I don't want to destroy my liver. Help!

  • Am I going crazy or am I sick?

I sleep an average of 12 hours and I wake up groggy, but I'm rarely able to go to sleep at a decent time. Then, while I'm awake I'll sometime get incredible urges to clean, or cook. I have fibromyalgia, which results in the worst pain on some days and poor circulation that causes horrible pain in my hands and feet every morning until about 2 hrs. after I start moving. I take Ultram daily and Lortab when I feel the pain is going to be bad, and nothing else. I'm always tired, but I'm in too much pain or too busy to sleep (escaping pain). I used to be on strong narcotics all the time but I couldn't function, but I'm still not where I want to be. Sleep meds might help, but I already get treated like a junkie for trying to get pain relief and I think this will really convince my doctors to cut me loose. Or maybe I'm losing it, which might be possible because some days I'm in pain to the point of suicide. I just want to sleep!

  • Does anyone know of definitive pregnancy test?

I've been doing these OTC pregnancy tests and they're all negative, but I'm having pregnancy "symptoms," i.e. swollen breasts, nausea, etc. I'm really attuned to my body and I always know when I'm pregnant, but if I'm not pregnant then what else could I be?

  • Does anyone know the lyrics to the song "Night Shift" by Freeway ft. Memphis Bleek?

I love this song but I'm partly deaf so I can't really hear the lyrics. It was on a mixtape and it does sample the music by the Commodores. Hope someone can help!
