What were the reason (s) Kim retired?

I heard that she was not having fun and I believe she also retired because of some injuries but I’m not buying that wholeheartedly. I believe Kim was miserable because Hewitt dumped her, and then married another woman, whose way better looking than Kim. Kim was not going to be happy unless she got married and had a child, so now that she’s done that, she’s on cloud NINE.

Anyone agree with me?

No, I think you are looking too far in on it. She always wanted a family, before tennis. She was unhappy because tennis was overtaking her life. She retired, got what she wanted, and now that she has just won a Grand Slam title after being retired for years...she is ecstatic!

Actually Kim broke up with Lleyton and he was shocked and very hurt, she wanted to get married and wanted more from life. His family was making it difficult and put a strain on their relationship and she realized they weren't right for each other.

She says of her and her husband now, "everything is just so easy" which tells me everything was probably just so difficult with Lleyton.

I used to wonder why Lleyton was with Kim too but then I started following her career and watching her and she is a very nice person and everybody really likes her on the tour.
