Kurt Cobain kinda seems outcast-like from the rest of this list. I mean, don't get me wrong, Kurt Cobain was a good artist, but come on, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan? Anywho, I'd have to say it's a tie between Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan, because Bob Dylan is much more solid than Jimi Hendrix when playing live, but i prefer Jimi Hendrix's studio work to Bob Dylan's studio work.

Of the 3 I prefer Kurt Cobain although I think Jimi Hendrix has had more influence on rock. I never cared for Bob Dylan but that's a personal preference, not a critique.

I love , respect Cobain to death, but Im not ignorant.

Bob- I hate his voice. I never read his lyrics. But, he is 'greatness' to a lot of people.

Jimi- Guitar playing, voice isn't bad, and I choose him.

Honestly , this is a stupid question, if you use the head, you can cut Cobain out, , there can be some competition between these ONLY, if you ask who had more passion. And, Jimi or Bob- that doesn't even make sense.

Let's see...Hmmmm...Dylan came first. Dylan has set the standard for music time and time again. Dylan has been covered by both Hendrix and Cobain. Dylan did drugs, got sober and is still kickin'. Dylan is still touring (over 100 shows a year). Dylan is still releasing new albums with all new material.

out of those three i prefer Bob Dylan...not only is he very cool looking...like i mean he is the coolest looking man on the planet..he looks like a secret agent!...but he has a song for like everything...and they have a meaning that can touch me in some way...he is such an interest to me...his songs...the way he words songs is so strange and new to me...like some of the things he says in his music is just plain beautiful...i'm a huge fan of wording and he pasted the test.."The only thing I knew how to do was to keep on keepin' on like a bird that flew.." just brilliant...my opinion of course...

they all influenced a lot of people but Bob Dylan influenced one of my all time favorite band...Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers....but not only that...the Beatles. David Bowie....a lot....but not to say that Hendrix and Cobain didn't...

Mmm this is a toughy. Lyrically I love Bob Dylan. Jimi and Kurt both have so much passion. Mmmm... uh I can't choose.
