How many people made it to the giant tea party rally in Washington DC on 9/12?
Where is all the press coverage?

the giant party was a bust. but the MSM isn't reporting it cus they figure it's a story of no import and to report the truth risks a paint ball attack.

Nowhere near as many people that showed up at Grant Park on election night '08.
There was press coverage on the Teabaggers march on DC, but most of the positive coverage was found on Fox News and right-wing blogs - inflating the number of people attending.
Funny how soon some people forget the sea of people that assembled at Grant Park to celebrate the over through of the failed "Republican Policies" - and now tout those same failed policies with a scant few thousand dimwits marching into DC to protest Tax Laws implemented by the Bush Administration.

The Mall was full, from the Capitol to the Wash. Monument. That is a lot of people. Press seemed to down play the event. One thing that was confusing was I thought the TEA Rally was for "Taxed Enough Already", but all the news outlets were reporting on was mostly Health Care reform?

Some reported 75,000 while we hear of 1.2 to 2 million. All we know is that the crowd stretched over 1 mile.
Press coverage may be limited because the liberal mainstream media doesn't want you to see it. I did see it on Yahoo News and other online news sources though. It would be hard to ignore a crowd of that size. Local news stations will probably not cover it unless you're int he DC area.

Just goes to show how ignorant some poeple can be...no aerial coverage so that the numbers can't be counted? PUH-LEEZ...the airspace over DC has been a "no fly" zone since 9/11. These Conservatives will invent ANY excuse to deny the fact that their numbers and support is minimal.

The Tea Party was covered extensively; teabaggers - as the media lovingly calls them - held a tiny little protest (that couldn't even fill the stadium for the Michigan versus Notre Dame game, by the way), but they seemed to have no united message other than hatred and anger toward the black president because of his skin color. Didn't you see it? You must have been watching Fox News ... where this racism is promoted.

I saw lots of coverage, but then again,
I'm informed, I read and pay attention.
The lowest estimates are 500,000,
the Park Service said easily 1.2 Mill
Some estimates from comparing it to the inaug say 2 mil.
Those playing the numbers down sound like petty little kids.
So what else is new?

30k - 50k. There was coverage by CBS, CNN, MSNBC - I do not know but I would think FOX since they were a co-sponsor. I saw pictures in at least 2 different papers. Do you not watch news? Change channel from FOX occasionally.

Billy Bob wanted to meet up with JimmyJohn and Misty may, but they couldn't remember which conspiracy blog had the meeting place listed on it. So all three of them missed the event, which cut overall attendance down dramatically.

Reports I heard (which were few and far between) gave estimates between 70,000 and 1,200,000. Personally, I think the 1.2 million is on the high side.
