How can you have word set up so that you can have a brosure?

use the program Publisher from microsoft office instead. there are different layouts and just pick 'leaflet' or 'brosure' depending on what it's called

1.) Change Page Layout to landscape
2.) Insert Table with 3 Columns, Two rows
3.) Drag the bottom of the first row (the middle horizontal line) to the bottom of the first page, and the bottom of the second row (the lowest line) to the bottom of the second page. you should now have two pages of 3 columns each.
4.) Add pictures/text boxes, etc. be careful with your ordering (you have to fold the brochure, remember) I would suggest the following order:
Page 1 Column 3 = Front page of brochure
Page 1 Column 2 = Back page of brochure
Page 1 Column 1= the outside of the page the folds....
Page 2 will include left-to-right your inside brochure pages
