Help with a teen problem?
My friend (aka D) has a seventeen year old boy (aka T) that has a problem - he is addicted to porn. I mean he watches porn videos/reads porn mags and masturbates every night D tried everything to make him stop, from talking to him calmly, to making threats, to banning him from the computer or taking his money. Nothing works. T is still hooked on porn and D is desperate.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to help D with his kid's problem?
forgot to mention T has started watching and reading porn about four years ago. D found out only two years ago.

Well I personally have no problem with masturbation as long as it is that is ALL he is doing. People say Masturbating is a sin, I say no and I'm Catholic. Anyways, I can see why the porn thing can be upsetting. Masturbation, let him be. Porn, D will have bring the hammer down. If nothing works, bring an even bigger hammer down.

How does your friend know that he masturbates, looks at porn etc. I don't have any friends that tell their parents such things. I think that "D" needs to get rid off anything that will let him acess porn. But remember this..in one year it will be legal for him to watch porn.

Well he may just be going through a stage where hes getting sexually active, dont worry, it should pass over, if it doesnt, see a doctor.
