What are some good diabetic recipes?

Hello All,

I'm looking for some diabetic recipes for my father. Also, how can i monitor what types of food are bad for him?

    There are a million diabetic cookbooks at the store, but the tastiest recipes I've found are at www.dlife.com. Look under "Recipes" at the top and you can put in key words to narrow it down, and you can choose low-carb (<60g carb per day) or safe-carb (100g-ish of carb per day). Their chef is really good.

    You may also want to investigate the glycemic index (GI) of various foods - the lower the GI generally the better it is for those with diabetes.

    Yhu can get a diebetic cook book,, and look at the carbs on the box of the foods and depending on the meal he can have a certain amount of food
