Hinduism: Why do you believe that God made the world when there is no proof?

When we look at scientists who are credited with the most important ideas of our time we find mainly Greeks, Europeans, Americans listed. Yet western history seems to have been arbitrarily begun during the Greek era. In fact, when we extend the boundaries of history to view the longer span of history we find some amazing developments predating "modern" history originating in Hinduism more than 5,000 years ago.

Hinduism is only scientifically proven religion in the world...

atomic theory.......

Sage Kanad (circa 600 BCE) is recognized as the founder of atomic theory, and classified all the objects of creation into nine elements (earth, water, light or fire, wind, ether, time, space, mind and soul). He stated that every object in creation is made of atoms that in turn connect with each other to form molecules nearly 2,500 years before John Dalton. Further, Kanad described the dimension and motion of atoms, and the chemical reaction with one another. The eminent historian, T.N. Colebrook said, "Compared to scientists of Europe, Kanad and other Indian scientists were the global masters in this field."

Cosmology & psychology

According to India's ancient texts, around 3000 BCE sage Kapil founded both cosmology and psychology. He shed light on the Soul, the subtle elements of matter and creation. His main idea was that essential nature (prakrti) comes from the eternal (purusha) to develop all of creation. No deeper a view of the cosmos has ever been developed. Further, his philosophy of Sankhya philosophy also covered the secret levels of the psyche, including mind, intellect and ego, and how they relate to the Soul or Atma.

Medicine (Ayurveda), Aviation

Around 800 BCE Sage Bharadwaj, was both the father of modern medicine, teaching Ayurveda, and also the developer of aviation technology. He wrote the Yantra Sarvasva, which covers astonishing discoveries in aviation and space sciences, and flying machines - well before Leonardo DaVinchi's time. Some of his flying machines were reported to fly around the earth, from the earth to other planets, and between universes. His designs and descriptions have left a huge impression on modern-day aviation engineers. He also discussed how to make these flying machines invisible by using sun and wind force. acording 2 Vedas god is nothing.HE is only form of energy who created this world....and all scientists ar also agreed this, that our world is created and we ar here all ar result of energy,.........

All major scintific ar made by hindu sages..... Due to their intense spiritual life, they developed such power of discrimination (vivek). Spirituality gives helpful direction and science brings speed. With a core of spirituality, modern scientists' discoveries can quickly bring only helpful ideas to help humanity. While Einstein is credited with the idea that one can travel faster than the speed of light, it was written about centuries before in the ancient Vedic literature. Perhaps it was Einstein's association with the famed Indian physicist, Bose that led to his introduction to the views about the speed of light. Through deep meditation and reading the ancient Vedic texts, who knows what our modern-day scientists will discover?

"The Vedas teach us that creation is without beginning or end. Science is said to have proved that the sum total of cosmic energy is always the same. Then, if there was a time when nothing existed, where was all this manifested energy? Some say it was in a potential form in God. In that case God is sometimes potential and sometimes kinetic, which would make Him mutable. Everything mutable is a compound, and everything compound must undergo that change which is called destruction. So God would die, which is absurd. Therefore there never was a time when there was no creation.

If I may be allowed to use a simile, creation and creator are two lines, without beginning and without end, running parallel to each other. God is the ever active providence, by whose power systems after systems are being evolved out of chaos, made to run for a time and again destroyed. This is what the Brâhmin boy repeats every day: "The sun and the moon, the Lord created like the suns and moons of previous cycles." And this agrees with modern science."

I think our present science is based on the principle that something cannot be proved on logic / theories do not exists. But the Hindu Ancient science work on principle that you don't know something or prove something still that may exist but we may not be knowing that.

even if we believe that universe was not created by GOD but still believe that some enery has created the universe that what that energy this is also one of the form of GOD and the Hindu Scriptures says that GOD energy was always there with no begenning or end hence the question of creation never arise.

Q1)What was God's motive behind creation and destruction?

Ans:-sprouts of karma(done by the people of this universe in his previous creation) made desireless Parmatman to create this world - ShriNasadiyaSookta

Q2)When did He started that?

Ans:-We can't understand this. Having understood this, we become BrahmGyaani. Actually we take the time like a following river, I mean changing aspect. but in reality it is still like a pond. That is why Veda called him Anadi(With beginning) and anant(without end).

Q3)What was He doing before that?

Ans:-This power is was given a human form aka "Chetan Dharm Aropan". That is why you are asking this question. But in reality it is shapeless and formless and it was present in Yognindra(not sleep but in a Atma-Nididhyasan(continuous Atma-chintana)

Q4)What was His eligibility for that? (First come cannot be considered as an eligibility)

Ans:-Infinite capability was/is/will be his eligiblility

There is no proof that we have a soul, yet Buddhists believe in aatma. There is no proof in reincarnation, yet Buddhists believe in re-birth. So my friend, proof is a product of intellect and science. Intellect and Science were created by the human mind in order to allow man to control his environment. However intellect and science have now become our masters and are controlling us.

There is one of three ways to gain knowledge about anything.

1 Prathyaksham - Directly by one of 5 senses

2 anumanam - With previous knowledge one can guess

3 Pramanam - Rely on vedas

It falls in the third category

I believe that so and so is my father, because my trusted care taker, my loving mother said so. i believe that things around are made of small atoms or cells, becaue my teacher's teacher's teacher's.. someone got it from scientists who saw the atoms..

My forefathers had written in palm leaves about the arts of health, arts of learning - grammar, logic, astronomy, astology.. they calculated the day and time of eclipses.. They wrote about blood circulation (before Harvey found the circulation in recent centuries), glands etc and meds to treat problems arising from their illness; they wrote about plants and animals and about rocks and gems.. they also said about Meta physics.. about angels,gods and a great formless Chief called Brahman who also embodied as humans and came down to guide people.

Because I believe their ancient science of maths, meds, astronomy and sorts, I also belive their theory of Godhood.

Dear, it is as simple as that. You know it well but you want to find reasons to play down truths you consider beyond proof under secular procedures. For me and most of my kind, we need no such proof, as our lives are short and we have faith enough in the wisdom of the ancients.

We understand that many wonderful things have been found in the material world by secular seekers of nature's mysteries. Hats off for them. We will believe them for what they say from time to time, if atom was immutable for sometime, then if it is found to break as well.. ok.. we shall take all your findings. We believe you.

But if you arrogate to yourself about the non existence of something beyond material world and its energies, we can not take your word. It is in different dimension and you must seriously try to investigate in the ways the ancients did, or just keep neutral.. never accusing the believers for your infirmities and angularities.

We cannot prove each and everything. Our senses have limitations, and so, our perceptions have. We have to believe many things on the basis of FAITH. Let's discuss some examples.

----- You haven't proved each and evey muscle, capillary, bone, or vein in your body. But, you believe in them, because you have FAITH in the scientists and researchers who say that these things exist in the human body (as well as in the bodies of many other animals).

---- You haven't proved that your parents are your true parents. But, you believe in the fact that they are your parents, because you have FAITH in them.

----- You haven't proved the electric current that runs through those wires. But, you believe in the electric current, because you have FAITH in all those people who told you about the electric current.

----- You haven't proved each and every planet or galaxy in the space. But, you believe that many such galaxies and planets exist in the space, because you have FAITH in the astrononomers who have studied them.

----- You haven't proved each and every organism on this earth. But, you believe that there are lakhs of species of organisms on the earth, because you have FAITH in the biologists who say so.

----- A doctor does not prove the reliability of the medicines that he prescribes to you. Yet, after going home, you take them without any fear, because you have FAITH in that doctor.

We have to believe many things on the basis of FAITH. Just as you believe in the things mentioned above, there have been people who say that God exists, who say that they have very short meetings with Him. You should have FAITH in them, and believe in God.

At last, even a small office cannot function properly without a manager. Friend, this is an infinite space.....! How could it function without a manager? The manager of this universe is nobody other than the God.

Please observe how our daily life runs.

We take milk from a vendor , that comes to our door daily morning and gives us required quantity daily.Are you SURE that the milk not contaminated with highly health hazardous substances that may be fatal ? Do you test and prove and take it after , you proved it to be safe? No you believe in the vendor.It is your faith.

Similarly you purchase so many things, edibles and come home. You do not know whether they are infected with any health hazardous bacteria.But you believe and it is faith again.

When some body is sick , that one goes to a doctor and the doctor after examining gives or prescribes tablets or may give an injection if the doctor feels it is needed.Do you know what he is injecting?You may ask, and the doctor may tell something.Can you understand the chemical in the ampule ? Probably no.with faith in the doctor we agree to take that injection.

From morning to the night until we go to sleep , have you observed how many things you are taking for granted and believe to be safe and proceed?

The fan in summer is rotating and is giving soothing air.You feel the air and see fan blades rotating speedily.Suddenly the fan stops.You say ' The power is off or current is off'' .Have you ever seen the current ? or the power? No.It is invisible.The same Electrical power that comes in two wires ( a phase and a neutral) are capable of showing you a movie in TV, make you hear music or news in Radio or TV .Or the same power can cool things in refrigerator, and heat things in a oven.

Casually you carry on without ever thinking about these . The unseen power you believe.

So our daily life , we live on faith not on proof.We believe in what the Doctor says or what the Vendor says etc etc.You do not demand proof there.

But when maharshis or prophets say about the GOD , you need proof?Why?Why don`f you have faith and progress as they say and verify yourself whether what they say is correct or not?No .You do not have time for that.For all the things you have time except this.

A seed is there.you plant it and water it .A small sprout comes and gradually it grows .It shows two small tiny leaves as if they are praying with folded hands to allow it grow , shows and gradually the plant grows big and there are Beautiful flowers with radiant colours.Are the growth and flower blossoming into flower is not a sign of life?.

If you leave the plant uncared . it may gradually decay if there is no rain .Finally it dies.there are so many varieties of tress ,plants,flowers,animals etc etc in the nature all moving with life?What is that that makes them grow and what is that that finally leaves them to die?or decay?It is unseen power?

Friend, God is not that cheap to appear before you and that simple prove in lab tests.

You have yourself follow certain set procedure with FAITH AND BELIEF and finally if you are fortunate you may have a Glimpse of HIS mercy, with HIS Grace.

Those who felt some thing believe very strongly God as their family member even.

So many eminent Scholars, highly educated ones, in very good posts of power, kings and queens, leaders and common men have Great belief in HIM.They all can not be wrong.

So without making any trail to know about HIM , to Experience HIM, I think it not correct to say that GOD IS NOT THERE.

HE can never be proved.You have to become God to know GOD.
