Could an electric car be made to recharge itself by using the energy from the turning wheels as a dynamo type?
a dynamo contraption attached to the wheels that collects and sends energy back to the battery continuously while driving the vehicle therefore creating a self charging vehicle or at least partially recharging itself seems possible to me
then maybe then just the other things needing power in or on the car therefore drawing less energy from the battery.

yes of course it is called perpetual motion!
no one figured-it out yet
but in the near future it will be on sale everywhere

Many of the modern hybrid vehicles use dynamic braking in which the kinetic energy of the car is used to recharge the battery a bit when the vehicle comes to a stop rather than dissipating all that energy as heat in the disk brakes. The electric drive motor is operated in reverse as a generator to accomplish this.
It cannot be completely self charging because there are friction losses that must be made up by either external electrical power or the gasoline engine.

Sorry, but it won't work. I thought about doing it for a science fair project because it seems possible, but with research you realize it isn't. The power it takes to power the vehicle is A LOT higher than the electricity you can get back. Plus, there are things like power locks, seats, windows, anti-theft, radio presets, lights, and so on that would need power other than just the drive system. Even if you combined solar, wind, and a dynamo action, you are pushing it.

no that will not work. that is called perpetual motion. it may prolong the battery charge slightly but you cannot fully recharge the battery that is driving the car with the car.

it sounds like it would work but when the wheel is being rotated its putting up Resistance if u add a dynamo would add allott more Resistancee
it would last longer but iwouldn'tnt keep it charged for ever

no, and also you can't make hydrogen from your battery to make it run more efficient.
