Should the Raiders have waited before trading Garcia..?

AS a LSU fan I stood up for Russel..but after watching last nights game I'm no longer a supporter..The guy has a rifle arm but it doesn't matter if you can't hit your receivers..I'm not a Raider fan but they should have won last night..

I watched the entire game last night and if you really break it down, Russel lost the game for them. He is the most inaccurate qb I've ever seen play in the NFL. He missed guys high, low, wide left, and wide right. Some of his passes were so off, I didn't know who he was throwing it to. He's played long enough to be better than that. With a top 5 defense in my opinion, a top 5 running game, and some decent receivers, the Raiders could push for the division with a better qb. Garcia would have won that game by putting up 31 points. The Raiders make some terrible choices.

I think the Raiders decided in the long haul Russel will be there QB. IMO the reason Garcia is gone they did not want Russel to be looking of his shoulders to see if he will be coming in, beside I am sure Garcia is an expensive backup and rather be starting somewhere.

Just remember that the Raiders started two rookie wide receivers last night. They are still learning how to run their routes and are sometimes not where Russell expects them to be. He is much more in sync with the tight end Zach Miller and with the injured receiver Chaz Schilenz.

the int where not Russell fault the 1st one was a bad Route ran by louis murphy 2nd was a hail mary pass.

Russell is qb and Al davis is going to give him every chance to be great i like how he played he still learning. i know he miss allot of passes but at least there throwing more. AS far as Gracia he did not want to be a back up in oakland he ask to be cut why keep a guy who does not want to be with your team. the eagle are going to suck with garcia he old injury prone and got bar far the worse arm in the NFL.

Yea i think they should have kept Garcia around just as an insurance because you just can't seem to trust Russell he was just over hypedd coming out of college

Gradkowski is a much better option than Garcia at this point in Garcia's career.

He has absolutely no arm strength left. He didn't have any at Tampa Bay last year either.

Garcia pretty much wanted out of Oakland and they let him go. I think it's the best move he's made in a long time because now he's with a team that has a shot at the playoffs.

The only drawback to going to Philadelphia is now he'll be suited up along side of the DOG KILLER Michael "Massacre" Vick. :(

I don't know why Garcia doesn't get more credit. He has done some good things everywhere he goes yet nobody has any faith in him. Maybe there's something that none of us know about him.

He was let go. As the age-old saying goes, "Al works in mysterious ways".
