Computer booting in diagnostics automatically?

I have a dell Inspiron 6000 that automatically boots into diagnostics mode every time it starts. I checked the bios setup and I am missing the option for diagnostic boot in the boot menu so i can't disable it that way. My computer runs fine i'm just tired of having to exit out of the pre-boot system assessment every time i start the computer.

Try this start/restart the PC on post keep pressing the F8 button this will take you to the options of how you want to run windows or what you wan tto run...this is a black screen with white lettering. Here is where you can enter the Diagnostics on DELL PC's and from there disable it, im just not sure of what is called so look on the screen and have a guess...if it is not there try the boot function key F12 it might well be there or F9. If none of the above works try going to the driver letter that Dell has setup the basic files on your machine this will not be the C drive but possibly D or E look for the diagnostics application and see if you can work things out ...hope this helps
