It's someone who posts questions that are meant to solely to elicit an emotional response, and are usually not honest nor reflect the actual attitude of the troll. Like a troll who wanted to get people angry and bothered might post a racist question just so people would respond angrily.

A troll in online forums (including this one) is someone who posts content intended only to cause anger or to fool other posters.
