can you use direct tv w/o a reciever box?

I only qualify for 2 recievers with direct tv; can I hook up two additional bedroom tv's with just the coaxil cable for basic service if I get the 2 boxes for the main two house tv's? (kindda like hooking up extra tv's with comcast cable)

    You need a box at all to receive satellite, and satellite has no "basic" service like cable has.

    You can run the other TVs off the receiver you have though, if you are fine with them having the same channel tuned as the other TV.
