Ohkay, if the guy can make time to talk to your mom he can certainly make time to talk to you. But at the same time if he's going through all the effort to inform your mom that he does want to call he obviously doesn't want to lose your interest.

You need to approach him, say if you wanted to call me you should have, because i don't feel like waiting around.

Make sure it's clear he's running out of time to call you.

You don't want guys to ever think they have the upper hand, we are by far stronger then they know, and we have to prove it.
