Question about Tahyatul Masjid and Tahyatul Wudhu?

Asalamu alaikum

If you make wudhu at the masjid, do you first make Tahyatul Wudhu or first Tahyatul Masjid or do you make both at one time?

And if you make both at the same time what would the Niyat be?

Shukran Jazielan

Update:

@red:

Tahyatul Wudhu is a Nafl Salaat(prayer), It done after every wudhu you make.

Update 2:

Bukhari:

Bk. 21

2.250:

Narrated Abu Huraira: At the time of the Fajr prayer the

Prophet asked Bilal, "Tell me of the best deed you did after

embracing Islam, for I heard your footsteps in front of me in

Paradise." Bilal replied, "I did not do anything worth

mentioning except that whenever I performed ablution during

the day or night, I prayed after that ablution as much as was

written for me."

    asalamo alikom .

you can pray tahyat al masjed and tahyat al wadhu by only one pray

but by the niyat of praying tahyat al masjed and tahyat al wodhu

but the best is to pray every pray alone i mean begin with tahyat al masjed first then tahyat al wodhu if you have time

First thing to remember is that:

All the nafil prayers are offered on voluntarily basis, no compulsion at all.

Once you intend to offer a certain nafil prayer, you have a intention to offer, no niyat is required as Allah is The All Knowing.

You have to offer 4 rakat of nafil, 2 rakat each.

    Tahyatul Wudhu: 2 rakat

    Tahyatul Masjid: 2 rakat

First you are required to offer Tahyatul Wudhu, then you can offer Tahyatul Masjid, you can't join the two.

But its again on voluntarily basis, one may not offer Tahyatul Wudhu but offers Tahyatul Masjid.

Tahyatul Wudhu can be performed at home if you do wudu at your home, can also be offered at masjid too. :)

    Hope that helps :)

The extreme Israelis, Zionists believe that there is ancient scrolls from the time of Moses claiming that Masjid Al-Aqsa is their property. The very interesting thing is that even if there was scrolls indicating this, wouldn't they have whithered by now? The whole occupation is based on this, they have shattered millions of lives for this scroll, which will show their apparent ownership of the area. It is interesting that in Jewish faith that a messiah will come and make the natives return to their land. Well in the last 50 years, 7.4 million natives have been forced to 25 countries and these are the Palestinian Arabs. So according to Jewish law that the Messiah will come and re-claim the land for the Arabs. Don't those evil Zionists see that?

Waalaikumsalam. As long as I know there is no tahyatul wudhu There is only du'a after we finished wudhu..

Tahyatul masjid should be done when we have entered the mosque we pray 2 raka'ats with niyyat in your heart that you will perform 2 raka'ats sunnah tahyatul masjid for the sake of Allah (lillahi ta'ala).

only two rakat with intention of both. There is not need to recite niyyah, it should be in heart.
