How do you know if you are eligible for unemployment in Texas?
My husband voluntarily left his job to take another job. Now after 2 months at the new job he is being laid off. Will he be eligible to claim unemployment? I looked on the TWC website, but it wasn't much help.

The first answer is correct. Being laid off qualifies him for the first part of the process. The second part is determining whether he has worked long enough to get benefits. If he has been working long enough (I can't remember how far they go back but it's at least a year and maybe a year and a half) then he should be fine.
Have him file ASAP. Don't wait or that will cause a whole other set of issues. These days you can usually file online without having to go into the office.
Good luck to you both!

He is probably eligible if he has enough time in the system. Just file and see what happens.
