Why does it take so long to attach?

I've struggled in the past trying to send a file that was larger than the capacity that yahoo offers.

You should be able to rt click the file ... click properties and determine the size. Seems to me yahoo won't send over 10 mgs but don't quote me on that.

My guess is that your computer has too many temporary files, etc. The following three downloads are what I use to clean my computer. I do this almost everytime I close my computer down for the night. I have used this for sometime and I believe they are very safe to use. Try them. If you find that it has removed many files (they advise you how much they remove) then that should speed up your computer in many ways. good luck

You can do the following to clean up much of it...

Download....all are free...the following. Enter the following in your browser and you will get the website to download them

Ccleaner.com

Windows cleanup 4.5.2

ATF-cleaner.exe

When you open them up SAVE them to the desktop and run them from there just before you shutoff your computer.

Once downloaded run them more than once until they are not removing anymore files.

lastly...run Disk Defragment....Click on START....ALL PROGRAMS...ACCESSORIES...SYSTEM TOOLS ...DISK DEFRAGMENT.. Once in there click on Defragment...

For your info i knew about Ccleaner and have been using that for some time...the other two were downloaded by Dell Support Techs when they were cleaning up my computer for other problems they helped me with...

You should see a vast improvement on the speed of your computer...For example I have Mozilla Firefox...It used to take over a minute to comeup on my computer after starting it in the morning..It now takes about 15 seconds...

Lastly, the speed of your internet service has much to do with it...If possible upgrade to a faster speed...
