x = mass of 45% cheese
y = mass of 20% cheese
The two equations:
x + y = 30
(0.45)x + (0.20)y = (0.30)(30)
x = 12, y = 18
12 g of 45% cheese and 18 g of 20% cheese
Answer: 12 grams
