if you fail out of any part of sf selection you go to an airborne infantry unit as an 11b.
you'd need to get into officer flight school after doing a green to gold program or etsing and doing rotc.

Well to be a pilot can mean lots of things from flying Helicopters to planes. But to fly helicopters in the army you dont need to be a officer, you can be a Warrant Officer and if you want to be special forces cuz that what green berets are you could be part of 150th SOAR with is special operation aviation regiment which mean you fly the SF, Delta, rangers and DOD on all the missions you will become a god in the sky and be part of the SF team. but first join the army and its all a process, to become a warrant officer you have to serve time in the army and then apply but while your in the army apply SF and if you make it then go warrant just the best advise for you.
