Get books, or a mini-trampoline, or Duplo (big lego) blocks - my 3yo girl loves them, or paints, crayons, a notebook, beads and string for making necklaces, bubbles, cool shoes...... Video (TV, Computer) is not good for a 3 year old's brain development - it overstimulates part of the brain and actually hinders their learning, even if it is "educational." I do let my daughter watch videos sometimes, but there are so many better things for her to be doing!

I don't even think that you should buy her a video game. Not just yet. She is like a baby and for now you should get her things that she can do with her hands. She shouldn't look at a computer screen all day long.
