What do you think of my short poem :)?

Question

"Feel Reality"

You can't fight the tears.
There's nowhere to run,
Nowhere to hide.
When the enemy is yourself.

I see through your fake smiles,
Through your silence.
Share the screams that only you hear.
Fear is only a state of mind.

Darkness only comes if you let it,
Open up your eyes.
See the truth that's standing in front of you.
I will face my reality. 



This was started on about 9/12/09 and finished I think 9/18/09.  I'm not sure if I want to reword the last line.  So please tell me, what do you think of my short poem?

I like it! absolutely...
i really can relate to it. I feel it sometimes..

I really like the second stanza especially the lines "Fear is only a state of mind" and "Darkness only comes if you let it"

I think of all your great poems this is one of my favorite!!

wow! its amazing, wonderful and inspiring.. to face reality that's something all of us can relate to.. that poem is unique from all the poem's i read. maybe if it was published people might open their eyes and face reality just like what you stated. u might even make a difference!

how true, i like your short poem! it shows how much you understand the meaning of life. the meaning behind this poem - you're talking to yourself. sometimes it's better to lie to yourself because of fear aching inside of you since the truth can sometimes be cruel. however i like the way you try to speak your mind in order to face the reality. (correct if i'm wrong, i like figuring out the hidden meaning behind every poem)

It came out really good O_O

When I read it, it seemed very personal, and the words are much deeper than it appears.

The second stanza is my favorite :]
