Internet Explorer has gone insane..HELP?

anyone know any reason for IE to go berserk and not allow me to close a window? i hit the x to close and get a message IE has closed, then another screen states IE is searching for a solution, and the whoopee, IE has restored the page I was trying to close. I have Vista, this has just started. Any suggestions?

Update:

I am a 61 year old woman and NEVER visit so called adult sites, been there done that. Have no interest at all. Picking up a virus is not impossible, but not that way.

Step 1: Open the Process Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) and close Internet Explorer in the process list.

    Step 2: Get Mozilla Firefox.

Internet Explorer, as you can see, is somewhat buggy and is not the best Browser choice in my opinion.

    I hope that helps. :D

I wonder if curiosity got the better of you curious one and made you look at some websites that you shouldn't have done?

I think its likely you picked up a nasty infection whilst browsing some adult sites.

Run your anti virus software and something like ad-aware to vanquish that sticky pop up problem that you have encountered.

Just like penicillin your anti virus problem will likely get rid of your infection.

And remember, curiosity killed the cat and is also likely to kill your computer if you are not more careful!
