If I went to the doctor to get birth control, what tests would they run?

They may ask you questions about your health history, sexual history, etc.
Or they may have you go in for a pelvic exam and pap smear.
Varies from doctor to doctor. If you're going to become sexually active they'll likely do a pap. If you want it for acne and periods they may just ask questions.
They'll take your height and weight, etc.

Not sure about the tests exactly but if you are underweight you may have an iron deficiency or be anemic and that may not be the best circumstances to get on birth control.
They will probably want to do a pap smear most likely and examine you.

They will do a pap smear. Ask questions about medical history. My doctor will not give birth control unless a pap smear is done. Even if it is just for acne.

They would most likely do a pap test, especially if you are already sexually active. They will ask you how many partners you have had, if you smoke and how much, drink and how much, and some family history.

Well, usually they'll test you for pregnancy just to make sure you aren't already pregnant before they put you on a pill.
